True Change

This last week I heard a lot of talk from family and friends about the state of the economy, the pres- elect, jobs, and the over all direction of our nation. And a thought crossed my mind, " there is only on person who can give us true change, true peace, and true unity. But no one is willing to let this person be the life changer he could be for them. No one allows him to be the peace bringer he is. We have pushed him out of schools, the businesses, the courts, and now the nation in a whole is trying to ban him altogether. Our true savior and change bringer is not a man, but GOD!!! We continue to look to man to fix things for us, but we don't go to the real life source and we tell him he isn't needed. Now our nation is going down hill and I predict in a few short years our nation will be even in worse shape than it is now if we don't step up and say " This is wrong" and not give in to the powers than be. The church for so long as just sat back and not said anything and now there are organizations out there that see the church as evil, un-useful or even a danger to our society. The different denominations in the body of Christ has put their own spin on certain verses in the bible and twisted it to bend to their own desires saying it is " God's will", but if you read the bible you see that much of what " man" has made it out to be is not what it really says. Our nation thinks Christianity is a danger to our nation. They must not know the bible that I read. God is a loving God, with compassion and generosity. He offers hope to the hopeless and peace to many who believe in him. He is also a stern God, like many parents, he disciplines when needed and sets certain laws to try to protect us from our selves.

All I am saying is we need to stop looking to a man to change us when we need to get back to God and let him do the change from with in our hearts. Women - no man is going to love you unconditionally like God can. So sleeping around gains nothing but sicknesses and a broken heart. Men - there is no satisfaction like a true relationship with Jesus Christ. He is more of a man the you will ever hope to be and a relationship with him will cause you to be a better man.
